The nixpkgs-unstable channel's programs.sqlite was used to identify
packages producing exactly one binary, and these automatically added
to their package definitions wherever possible.
While at it:
- updated package description (and mention DEPRECATED upstream status)
- switched to .xz tarball
- dropped upstreamed patch
- dropped explicit checks for build result as upstream fixed it.
* pkgs: refactor needless quoting of homepage meta attribute
A lot of packages are needlessly quoting the homepage meta attribute
(about 1400, 22%), this commit refactors all of those instances.
